Access denied for reports view when user do Group by

Hello all,

Good evening.

I have two questions here. 

1. How to put drop down conditions on a report? (See the pic below)

2. My second question is, a user today complain that he is not able to view the content when he applies the Group by on selecting anyone of the three options above.

Initially, if he doesn't apply any Group by condition, then he is viewing the report content.

But when he applies any group by, then this below message is showing.

(Access to this content denied based on report_view ACLs)

I checked report_view ACL on sys_report table and provided him the related roles. But still he is not able to view the content by applying the Group by.

Please note: Report is Active and shared it to the user.

Can someone help me in answering these 2 questions plz

For the 1st question, It comes from Additional Group by in the report.

For the 2nd question, it's still yet to get

For user restrictions we have access analyser feature 

Navigate to All-> Access Analyzer

From this you can easily find why it is restricted for particular user and change accordingly.

That is not that much clear.

The user is viewing the report content,

But when he clicks on that additional group by filter, shown in the pic in the question above, the ACLs are restricting him to group by.

Why it is?

Even I checked the report_view ACL on the change request and provided him those roles also.
