Activity Formatter Not Displaying Line Breaks Correctly

Hi Fellow ServiceNow People,

 

We have recently had the Utah release applied to our instance. Since then the way that our activity stream is displaying additional comments without the line breaks. I think it is because the activity stream seems to be ignoring them?

After saving they look like this

This has applied to all past incidents and even new ones that get created from our service portal using a script.

I did manage to get the records producer created incidents fixed by changeing all the \n to <br> but obviously this does not fix the old incidents.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as you can imaging the techs are seeing a wall of text and it making their eyes hurt!!

We have the same issue. It happened after upgrade to Utah.

I logged a case with ServiceNow and they have advised that it has been fixed in UTAH PATCH 3 if that helps
