Hi ,
For the milestone task, project start date and project end date are same.
What is the behavior of Actual start date and Actual end date, does they also remain same like those if project start date and project end date. Please explain.

Hi @Drishti,
Actual dates can be different from Planned dates as per OOTB process.
Actual duration need not to be 0. If state updated to closed complete, automatically planned dates will be copied to actual dates.
Let me know if it helped.
Thanks,

Hi Nootan,
Thankyou for your respond.
So, Actual start date will take value of when project task state changes to WIP and actual end date will take value when project task state changes to closed complete.
Please correct my understanding if it is incorrect.
