Add a manual approval to a workflow

Hello,

I have someone asking me to add the ability to add a manual approval into a service request..

so, have the standard approvals on the workflow - but in certain cases people are wanting to around that request item to a different person / group for them to approve which are not built into the workflow. 

Is there any way to route an approval manually?

Hi Sandy , 

This can be done . We had a similar kind of situation. We have provided the users to select the approvers on the catalog item . The flow designer/workflow will trigger approvals for the user we selected on the form field. Connect the approver field to workflow.

For sample we used the flow designer. 

 Approver 1 , approver 2 fields connected in ask for approval condition. We can select the two approvers from the catalog item form.
