Add a manual approval to a workflow

Hello,

I have someone asking me to add the ability to add a manual approval into a service request..

so, have the standard approvals on the workflow - but in certain cases people are wanting to around that request item to a different person / group for them to approve which are not built into the workflow. 

Is there any way to route an approval manually?

Hi,

If users are adding manual approvals to the request from the related list, then use 'Approval Coordinator' WF activity in the workflow to connect these activities and check on all pending approvals. Please see below doc for more information.
