Hello, I have to modify a catalog item add a "Start Date" field to require the user to input the user's start date if the following are chosen: display start date if below is true. Business Justifications:
New position, no current computer or new person, no current computer. I created the following catalog UI policy:
I am not sure where/how to add a start field to the catalog UI policy. Thanks!

See the related list of this UI policy, there will be UI policy actions.
Add the Ui policy action for start date and visibility=true.
Variables are not added in catalog ui policy (it is just for defining conditions). Variables are added in UI policy actions.

once you save the Catalog UI policy, in related list you can create UI policy action and select your variable and show it and make it mandatory.

You can use catalog ui Policy that makes the Start Date field visible and mandatory based on specific conditions. For instance, you can set the condition to trigger when the Position Type is New or when the Computer Status is None, indicating a new position or a new person without a current computer. ..
