add help-text to catalog checkbox variable

I have a requirement to display more than 400 character for "question" field on a checkbox catalog variable.

How can I get this done. I know this can be displayed using 'Rich Text Label' variable under the checkbox, but the issue is that we are using UI Policies on the checkbox variable and that I why we want to add the text to the checkbox not creating separate variable.

Why can't you use the UI policy on the rich text variable too under the same conditionsas the check box?
