Add hint tooltip for a field in a list view

I want to add a hint text/tooltip to a field/column in the list view (NOT inside the form: this I know how to do)

Hi Anurag, Is there a way to show hint text on columns of the list view in workspace, since it does not work in workspace.

Hi,

In the list view, when you hover over the text, it shows you the complete text only for the fileds where you define the Hint. Thats ServiceNow OOB functionality.

Also it's not possible to disable this behavior, check here:

Hi Alberto, this does not work in workspace, any idea how to achieve ? The hint works good on the columns in the list view in the classic view but in workspace the hint text is not coming up when we hover over columns.

Hello @Alberto Consonni 

I updated the Hint field to specific column but its not showing up the tool tip for that list column. 

Instance: Newyork PDI.

Note: List column field is Dot walked field. Refer second screen shot.

go to filter nav > sys_documentation.list

then search for table

then element is the field column name

set hint
