Is it possible to embed a hyperlink into the Description field of a RITM task?

Its a string, so it will only accept and render character data.   There's no way for you to make it behave like a hyperlink.

At best you can get it to contain the text equivalent of the HTML that could render a hyperlink.   But if the URL is for human consumption, I don't think that's going to do you any good.

I don't think so.

I had also searched for similar type of requirement but nothing found. May be you can use URL type of field if you want to store only url
