Add List Collector or multi select reference field in a UI Page

I've  a requirement to change a reference field to a list collector/multi select field in a UI page. How can it be achieved without disturbing the existing setup.

Hello,

Unfortunately, without the name of the UI Page (if we'd have that in our instances to help you) or without the code that you currently have, we can't really help with a whole lot. Obviously, you'd need to change "something" to change a field from reference and it being a single select field to a list type field. So, that does mean "disturbing" the existing setup. If you are perhaps meaning something else, then let us know what you mean by disturbing.

We have added 'Information Object Attributes' related list in business application form. We have a requirement to edit the UI page 'sn_apm_relate_configuration_item' which opens up when clicking on 'Add' button in this related list. The requirement is that instead of reference field to add an Information Object to a Bus App, we need to add multiple information object i.e. reference field needs to changed to a list collector in UI page so that CRUD operation can be added to bulk Information Object and can be related to Bus App.
