Add widget to automated tasks

hi all,

i have created a variable set that contains a custom variable, that shows a widget with an icon and some text.

now i would like to add this variable set to the forms of all automated catalogue items.

what would be the easiest way to achieve that?

obviously i don't want to manually go through each catalogue item.

thanks.

@Frank Cheung

so you want that variable set to be added to multiple catalog items?

Not sure what automated catalog items mean here but if those are normal catalog items then check below

Do this

  1. Open Variable Set
  2. Goto "Included In" tab
  3. Click Edit Button
  4. Select the catalog in the slush bucket. You can add filter if you want to move based on a pattern
  5. Click Save button

Hi @Frank Cheung , you can go to Service Catalog -> Catalog Variables -> Variable Set -> Select your variable set, then under the related list - 'Included In', you can add all the catalog items which you need this variable set in.

Hello @Frank Cheung ,

This can be achieved using the "Edit" list action button on "Included In" Section of Variable Set.

> Open the variable Set > Included In Section > Edit

Choose all the Catalog item you need to have this variable set from collection.
