New here, and pretty new to ServiceNow as well. Hoping you can help with a seemingly simple issue with UI builder.
I would like to add a delete button that deletes selected records from a list item. However, I cannot figure out how to hook up the logic, and whether I should be using Server Script or UXF Client Action.
- If using a server script, how are the selected records sent to the server and in what shape?
- If UXF Client action, how do I configure my payload and then tie that to the button action handler?
So far I have added a new Action Assignment and got my button to appear on the list. I have tried adding as UXF Client action, but I'm not sure how to configure my payload or how to hook that up to the button event in UI Builder. Any guidance would be great.
