Adding closed notes to widget My Requests V2

As it says I'm looking to add closed notes to any records that are on the widget My Requests V2. Everything else is fine, but it would be nice if the closed notes showed in even just the activities field on there. Not sure why this isn't part of the widget OOB since I'm sure the user would like to see the closed notes if they are looking back on a ticket.

 

I've seen a few posts on this very question, but the solutions aren't working out and it makes sense since most are 4 to 5 years old.

Right, then you can do the following:

  1. Navigate to Standard Ticket> Standard Ticket Configuration
  2. Search and open the record where table = incident
  3. Add your fields to the 'Info fields' field

But I did notice that it's truncated after a few characters and I don't think there is a workaround unless you customize the widget.

 

Instead, did you consider adding a Comment with the notes when it's closed?

If so, you can write a simple BR to do so.

The only issue with this is it would send out 2 notifications(one for closure and one for comments added).
