Adding field to the Approval widget in Service Portal

Hi
I’m currently working on “Service Portal. ” My company has a requirement to add a comment in the Approval widget. There is a comment field in the sysapproval_approver table. I’m hoping that someone can help guide me and explain how I can add that field in the widget so that it appears on the form when the approver accesses it.

Are you using Approval Record (OOTB) widget that comes with portal. If so than it already has comments box.

Thanks for the replay.
I'm new in Service Portal, the widget is OOTB, but i don't see any reference to comments, we are using Jakarta.
do you know if they made any changes to the widget in Kingston?

No changes in Kingston, As long as user has permission to comment it will show up.
