Additional assignee list

I need to add another group to Additional assignee list, is there a role I can add to the group?

Basically, I have a custom table accessed by a specific group and we can assign ticket to this group only. We want to have the ability to assign ticket to users from another group so I added the oob Additional assignee for it. I know in the table I can add individuals as per attached image, but this hard to maintain. Where group is maintained by AD so its easier

Based on oob dictionary configuration of Additional Assignee List field, it does not require any additional role to be assigned to the user/group.
