Agile Board to Update sets

I have sprints and stories created through agile boards in dev instance. That instance is about to be Cloned 

Post clone would need all the stories again

I do not see a way to capture them to update sets and even if i export to xml every story there is no way to import them back 

any way to capture them to get them back ??

I guess you have sprints and stories on dev, because you don't have those paid plugins active on prod? If you do have those active on prod, you can also choose to preserve data while cloning.
