Hello, Please see the screen shot below. I was told that prior to this change, users couldn’t update the Change Group (assignment_group) for a CI. Now they can update it. I need to test this by updating the Change Group and
changing the Location to see if the Change Group will get updated. Will you explain simply where I am supposed to do these test?

First of all, it is not clear what exactly has changed. It is not clear either why it has changed and who made the change. If you are the system administrator or developer, you should know what you are doing and how/where to test it according to your organization's procedures.
Your business rule runs on [cmdb_ci] table, so I would assume that's the table where you need to test. And of course, you should test in a non-production instance.
