I would like to store an API reference on my instance, similar to the the API references on the developer site (for example: Client API ). Is it possible to create something like that in the servicenow knowledge application?

What's the use case? Does it need to be used in logic, or is it just the reference? Because the API references on the developer site are nothing more than knowledge articles, so you already gave your own answer: create it as knowledge base/categories/articles.

OK, I have tried to make it work like that but it does not come close. If it was that simple there was no need to ask this question. Can you tell me how exactly I should configure this to work like that? If we take the Client API as an example, what would be the categories? What would be the articles? How would I get the links to the functions in left menu list? How would I get all the functions displayed one after another the way it is done in the Client API reference on the developer site?
