Approval on SCTASK with no role?

Hi All,

I have set up a manual approval step from an SCTASK record.

The only thing that is causing an issue is a user with no role cannot view the details of the approval request via the portal.

The approvers are added to a custom field u_approvers but they are also added as approvers at the bottom of the sctask record anyway.

Can I create an ACL that allows the approver to view the sctask details just like how it works for approval on RITM's?

Thanks!
Alex

Hi Shloke,

Thanks for this.

Reviewing this seems to be looking at editing the actual widget, but when I view the approval from catalog task as an itil user, the widget displays perfectly.

So I'm thinking it could be still do with ACL's?

Happy to post my widget script if it could be an issue with this.

Thanks again,
Alex

The business I work for is also interested in this feature.  @Menaka Naga Sai, @Community Alums.  Did either of you settle on an approach to this?
