Attach SLA to the Parent Task, Not the Approval
Instead of attaching SLA to the approval record directly:
✔️ Create an SLA on the parent task (Incident, RITM, Change, etc.)
✔️ Use SLA conditions to monitor approval state
Example:
Start condition
Approval = Requested
Stop condition
Approval = Approved OR Rejected
This way:
You measure approval delay
You avoid customizing core approval tables
Reporting becomes easier
This is the cleanest, upgrade-safe method.
