Approve and reject request using link or button without opening new window in Outlook

Need help to click on link or button that should approve the request directly from the outlook without navigating anywhere or without generating auto reply email.

Without any plugin,

unless they visit the instance OR send a reply to instance how can the record be updated?

not possible as per my understanding
