Approve button opening a new record

When I am trying to approve a record instead of updating the record as approved it is redirecting to new record instead of approving when I relaod the record one or more time and approve it the record is getting approved any leads would be helpful

so it means approval is not working when that button is clicked?

it's an OOB UI action and no change is done

I have created a change request and when the change is moved to Assess state by clicking on Request For Approval button few approvals would be created

when I try to approve the approval record either by impersonating as approver or approving as admin itself by clicking on the approve button it is redirecting to new approval record(sysid=-1)  when I try to reload the record once or more the record is getting approved

 

Note:There is no issue when I try to approve the record from list view itself(approve admin only) the change is getting approved

 

The approval issue is not only for change record approvals it is occuring for other approvals such as knowledge and hr as we have tested for the few records

it should not do that.

Did you check if this is happening for all users?

you are approving from native or workspace?

even if I impersonate as the approver or if I approve my self as an admin from the native UI it is happening,there is no worskpace used here
