Approvers cannot see variables

Hi everyone. I was under the impression that approvers could see (and update) the variables on Requested Items they needed to approve, however during some testing this morning, I realised they can't see the actual fields. I think this has changed at some point because I configured some forms to work this way.

The approver seems to have access at some level because when I open the Description section they can view the responses of the requester (see below). They cannot see anything on the request item (see beneath). Is this something I can do (allow approvers to see and update the variables on requested items for which they are approvers)?

This is probably because of the ACL's restriction. Turn on debugger and check which ACL is restricting the access.


Thanks Pradeep, but I've never had a security rule for approvers in this way, it's just always worked (as far as I can recall). Sure enough, the debug says the approver cannot create/read/delete anything on the requested item. I'll have a go at create rules for the approvers but I wonder if it's a system property that was brought in during an update that I just need to toggle.

Thanks but I think this changed after we upgraded from Calgary to Eureka. I assume the demo is on Fuji.
