we are implementing Archive functionality for Incident,Change, Request, Problem, KM.
initially we have started with Incident, for testing purpose we have defined Archive rule for "Before 2hr from the closed" :
But incidents are not achiving, i just check the Scheduled job for "Archive", it is in "Ready" state, the next action it is showing as "2017-10-31 14:00:00".
i guess this scheduled job is not executing, since the archive functionality is not working, below is the snapshot of "scheduled job:, this job is defined with Triggered Type is "On Demand".
can someone help me how to make this job run or how to make the Archive functionality work properly.
Thanks and Regards,
Jay

For archiving records we have a schedule job called Archiver, similarly do we have any job for destroy rules?
Thanks in advance,
Kannan

The next run date doesn't look correct. If you change the rule, click Recalculate Estimate, then Run Archive.

Hi Michael,
The next Run date is capturing from the "Schedule Job", i hope this Run date will not be an issue as i am manually running Archive rule for tetsing purpose, the estimated date is re-calculating when i ran the Archive rule, but still incidents are not archiving.
Thanks and Regards,
Jay

Can you verify the schedule job is running?

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your response.
We found a workaround for this issue, there were many entries in the Archive logs, we have deleted the records from Archive logs and re-run the Archive rule, and now the Archive rule is working as expected.
Now I wanted to archive incident related records, like caller Service Inventory, can some one suggest me how to archive caller Service Inventory of an incident.
Thanks and Regards,
Jay
