Hi,
I made an Archive rule, before running it was showing records estimation of 986. But after archiving the records 418 records didn't archived. I didn't changed any condition while running the rule and batch is set to default(NUmber of records - Batch Size is 100 and Max number of batches 10).
Can anyone help me understand even after running the rule later again, 0(zero) records archived. Why and any proposed solution to solve this ?

Hello @Gaurav_S0107 This happened with my yesterday while archiving one of the older CMDB records.
So, it can happen if the record was previously "Archived" and then "restored" - in any way by xml or from table directly. So system will not consider that in further "rearchival runs".
Another tweak can be that you didn't click on "Recalculate estimate" before running the archival rule - it could very well be that only 418 records qualify the criteria and hence only they are archived - if its the first time archival.
So, always recalculate estimate before archiving.
I hope this answers your query.
Kindly mark my answer as helpful and accept solution if it helped you in anyway. This will help me be recognized for the efforts and also move this questions from unsolved to solved bucket.

Hi Shivalika
Thank you for your prompt response.
I "Recalculate estimate" before running the archival rule and it was showing 986 crossed with same condition applied the backend table as well.
I also didn't run rule multiple times. I ran for the first time only and out of total 986, but 418 records didn't archived, that is the issue, don't know why.
