Article Templates - How to limit to just the Standard/Knowledge for an individual KB

Hi,

We have multiple KB's and we have the need to limit one of those KB's to only have the 'Standard/Knowledge' template available only.

Is it possible to do this without the need of Scripts or system admin access?

I have Knowledge.admin access and when I go to the KB > Article Templates the Standard/Knowledge template is not an option in the Collection.  I only see the other OOB options (FAQ, How To, KCS and What Is).  If I select none of those 4 and leave the Article Templates section empty it makes all 5 templates available.

Would love a solution to this thats doable with Knowledge.admin rights rather than system admin if possible but if not any suggestions on how to best handle this with minimal customizations would be great.

I believe when you navigate to All > System Definition > Interceptors and search Name is "Article Template Selector" and open this record then you can find the Answers which allows to show/hide the template(s) however do not provide an option to conditionally show/hide:

So, I believe it is not possible as per your requirement, however I would request you to create a HI Case (https://support.servicenow.com/now?id=ns_guided_support ) to ServiceNow to get their answer on it.
