Hi,
Your question isn't very clear, but you can navigate to the user in question, scroll down to groups, add them to a group that has the role(s) you want them to inherit. Roles, for best practice sake, shouldn't be given directly to a user, but instead assigned to a group, and the user added to the group (even if it consists of one member for now).

Hi,
The best practice is to create a group and tag the appropriate roles to the groups. Instead of direct role assignment using role option You should use the group which is tagged the roles.
Question - The role assignment is part of user onboarding i.e., SSO and LDAP. Why you are doing with the help of UI Action / Schedule Job.
If user is already present and user want to add the role then you should automate the process like create a catalog item to add the role in user account. If requires add the approval in the workflow and automate it.

Suresh.
