ATF stuck - Test run gets stuck when a previous run is cancelled

Has anyone noticed that if we cancel an ATF test run  and delete the run, then subsequent runs of that test keep getting stuck. Even though there is no running instance of that test. How to overcome this?

Waiting while another run of this test completes.

This is what works for me:

1. Open the Active Transactions [v_transaction] list.
2. Select the transaction record where:
   • URL == BackgroundProgressJob
   • Created date/time matches the date/time of the stuck ATF test run
   • Created by == user which ran the stuck ATF test step
3. Select "Kill" from the list actions to terminate the transaction.
