Does anyone know how to install the "Atlassian Jira Integrations Common" plugin on a servicenow developer instance, or where it sits under in the Activate Plugin section of a developer instance setup?

Hi @scottl

looks like the dependent plugin sn_jira_int is a store application

In this video I show what's out-of-the-box (OOTB) with the Atlassian Jira Integration for Agile Development in ServiceNow. I am routinely asked about what's possible when it comes to integrating ServiceNow and Jira and I always recommend starting with this pre-built integration. Even if you are ...

In his original install walkthrough video, it was once available to be installed.

Seems like SN has locked people out from that ability now. Prob. because SN actually has some competition, with 3rd parties creating better products/apps for JIRA sync'ing, so SN locked everyone out to try to protect their own product.

Disappointing, but not surprising I suppose, as SN continues to strangle it's own product by implementing even more restrictions, for greater profit.

Hi @scottl ,

Yeah could be after all this is one most implemented integrations

Hi @scottl, I'm the community manager at Exalate.

Great question. The plugin was previously installable directly on ServiceNow developer instances. However, it appears that it's no longer available for activation in personal dev instances.

While it’s understandable that some of these changes can feel limiting, there are still several ways to test and implement integrations depending on your environment type and requirements. For example, tools like Exalate offer more customizable and bi-directional integrations between Jira and ServiceNow (and it's not limited by these plugin restrictions).
