Attachement Preview doesn't work

Hi, 
so currently I develop a ticket tool prototype and one of the requirements is a preview for attached screenshot. I have tried it with the DokumentViewer, which is active / installed but it doesn't show me a preview. I'm not sure why its not working and I was also wondering if there might be any alternatives? 
I am building the prototype in an PDI on the vancouver version. Any suggestions on what to do?

Hi @MaximilianB, did you manage to find a solution for this? I'm having the same problem, following the steps of: Enable Document Viewer but it's not working.
I got it installed, I've added the attributes to the table, but nothing.
