Hi all,

I had a requirement where business sends CSV file as an email attachment and I need to load that data into a custom table automatically.

  • The emails will only come from a specific user profile: Praveen which Inbound email

  • The report is sent as an attachment (CSV/Excel from the User

  • Data should be staged first (stagging table)

I would use a Flow. You can trigger on an Inbound Email and use out of box actions to:

  1. Look up the Email attachment(s).
  2. Check the file name(s) if appropriate.
  3. Look up a Scheduled Data Import Record created for this purpose.
  4. Remove any existing attachments and add the new one.
  5. Then Update the Scheduled Data Import record to execute.
