auto populating related tickets

Morning all,

 

I have a new tab on Problem called related tasks, in which multiple tasks can be related to that problem and the opposite on Problem Tasks to relate multiple problems to one task (Re-boot server for instance) but I need them to auto populate each other, so if I add a problem task to this field on the problem record, then in the problem task it has the problem record in the related field. Screenshot below. This to allow reports to show the problems linked to to the tasks.

I created a ptask and I can see the problem number on same and i can create report as well.

May i know, what is use case of this. OOTB we have Ptask on problem record you can use that.

So I see the related list for ptasks on the problem record (and vice versa) but not an OOTB field. This requirement is so the problem manager can have a list report on Problems that shows related Ptasks and vice versa. I just need to ensure when one is populated the other one is too, so if I have gone onto the problem record and added ptasks in when I got to a ptask added it shows the problem related (in the tabs in the screenshot)
