Best Practice for not showing a CI that shouldn't be used

I have a requirement to hide Business Application.Architecture type is Platform Host from CIs. When I try to add "Business Application.Architecture Type is NOT Platform Host" it shows ONLY Business Applications that don't have a Architecture Type of Platform Host and not empty. What is the best way to achieve this goal? Below is our current filters.

If I understand you correctly, you have added the filter "Business Application.Architecture Type is NOT Platform Host", but now "Business Application.Architecture Type is empty" is not showing - correct?

If yes, then there is a very simple explanation in relation to the condition builder. The condition when adding "Business Application.Architecture Type is NOT Platform Host", it will automatically say, if it's not that then it should be something else, hence it also filtering out empty. 

So you need to have the condition:

"Business Application.Architecture Type is NOT Platform Host" or "Business Application.Architecture Type is empty".
