Best practice to change holiday schedules

Hi Experts,

In SNOW If we are to change the holiday schedule

for example : we have holiday schedule fo year 2017.

Now when we move to 2018 , the year has new holiday.

So in that case what we should do? Should we change the existing schedule with current years date or should we create new schedule with new date let the old ones remain and wherever we have the old schedule eeing used we change the schedule to the new one.

Please help me get a solution for this.

Thanks you for the reference but I am quite aware of how schedule need to be created , I just want to know what is the practice to be followed, should we create like India holiday 2018 or do we edit the dates in existing values of India Holiday 2017
