Better Understanding of HR Service Fulfillment Type = "Advanced"

Per the documentation here: Link ...  When the Fulfillment type is set to "Advanced", you can use a combination of "workflows and service activities"...

 

Q1) That refers to the OLD workflow technology, not the new Flow technology, correct?

 

Q2) How exactly does the workflow interact with the service activities?  Or where can I find more information on that, or an example? 

 

Q3)  Does the "Order" field on each individual Service Activity no longer apply?  It's all controlled from the Workflow somehow?  Thank you!

@G24 Here are few cents from my side.

1. Advanced option still uses the old workflow technology. A flow can't be utilised with Advanced fulfilment type.

2. The workflow and service activities will function separately.

3. Since the workflow and service activities function independently, the order field will apply on Service Activity as usual
