Hi Everyone,
I am experiencing a problem where even after activation the 'Change Management - Collision Detector' plugin, 'Blackout Schedules' is nowhere to be found. I double checked and the plugin is shown to be active and when I go to Change>Administration> 'Blackout Schedules' is nowhere to be found.
Instructions that I have followed are below:
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/kingston-it-service-management/page/product/change-management/task/t_ActivateConflictDetection.html#t_ActivateConflictDetection
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/kingston-it-service-management/page/product/change-management/task/t_CreateBlkoutMaintSched.html
Is there something that I am missing?
Thank you to anyone who can help
Alex

Did you check to see if the module is just inactive? Should come active out of the box.

Hi Michael,
Definitely, actually that is the first thing we checked. The Status as shown by the screenshot is Active.
The problem is there is never thorough documentation on ServiceNow and this is a major problem through and through.
The Blackout Schedule does not show by default because you need to go into the Change module, click on the edit 'pencil' icon, and scroll down the list of modules to check the roles needed to see the 'Blackout Window' module. For our group, it was set to itil by default and as a result, we couldn't see it.
Problem is now solved. I'm hoping that this will get turned into a knowledge article for anyone else who is faced with issues viewing modules despite a plugin being active as this is easy to miss.
Note to ServiceNow Support: I encourage ServiceNow to have some proper documentation that shows in 'detail' of turning on plugins, etc etc so that users don't run into road blocks like these.
Thanks

further issue when trying to create a New Schedule entry:
In the Schedule Entries: Schedule>Schedules>'pick a schedule'>create a new Schedule Entry by clicking on 'New' While testing in our Sandbox environment, the following fields are greyed out: -Name -Type -Show as -Repeats We have checked ACLs, UI Policies, Security Rules, etc. but weren't able to see what's causing those fields to be locked out. Screenshot attached.

Type should be blackout, and field Schedule (not on form) should contain the schedule name.
