Browser notifications

Hi,

We are trying to trigger browser notifications to every user in the assigned group whenever an incident record is submitted. 

We've seen the various posts concerning this topic, and none of them have helped. 

We did manage to create an in-app notification, but it does not trigger browser notifications, even though all the user's settings are set properly.

We are also using the service operations workspace, if that may help to find a way to trigger the browser notifications.

Any help will be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

what exactly do you mean by browser notification?

There are out of the box notifications in ServiceNow in the right upper corner:

or email notifications.

Can you please be more specific for your requirements?

I know about the in-app notifications, and I managed to use them as I said.

I'm interested in browser notifications; these notifications are outside the ServiceNow UI and appear even if the browser tab is in the background.
Most importantly, they can also play a sound and be seen regardless of which app you're currently using.
