Hi everyone,
I'm using ServiceNow IDE with Build Agent (Claude 4 Sonnet).
The Build Agent panel loads successfully, but every prompt I send immediately returns:
"Error: Internal server error sending messages"
This happens even with very simple prompts such as:
- Hello
- Create a Student table
- Help me brainstorm app ideas
The error occurs instantly before any response is generated.
What I've already tried:
- Refreshing the browser
- Starting a new Build Agent chat
- Logging out and back in
- Using very small prompts
- Testing inside both Global scope and a scoped application
Environment:
- Latest ServiceNow release
- Personal Developer Instance
- ServiceNow IDE
- Build Agent with Claude 4 Sonnet
Has anyone encountered this issue before?
Are there any required plugins, roles, entitlements, properties, or instance configurations that should be checked?
Any troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.
