I'm excited to share my ideas after completing #BuildWithRPA challenge !
🏢 Corporate Idea:
We can reset password of Active Directory through ServiceNow RPA Bots by passing the information through flow designer.
Sales Pitch - Utilize web scraping techniques alongside ServiceNow's RPA design studio and workflow capabilities to extract a list of company names from the "cmn_companies" table. Then, access each company's ServiceNow instance to extract its current servicenow version. Finally, incorporate this version data back into the company records. This approach will assist in identifying companies in need of instance upgrades, allowing us to offer them guidance through a structured service flow as a Service Provider 😋. ( This can be done by scraping <companyname>.service-now.com/stats.do ---- IF ALLOWED. )
🐸 Crazy Idea: I've been working on a bot that combines ServiceNow's generative AI and RPA Design Studio. This bot's purpose is to predict stock market trends and provide buy/sell recommendations for selected stocks. The workflow involves scheduling a job to initiate a flow designed in Flow Designer, which, in turn, triggers an RPA process through the bot.
To identify the top mid-cap stocks for the day, I'm exploring two approaches:
1. Web scraping to gather relevant data.
2. Utilizing open-source Stock APIs to obtain a list of top mid-cap stocks for the day.
Subsequently, this list is fed into ServiceNow's RPA Design Studio to execute a Python script, and the predicted stock prices are recorded in a ServiceNow custom table. This system then sends out notifications with buy and sell price recommendations just before the market opens for the day.
