Business Calendar

Hello team can someone explain to me this topic : Business Calendar

i'm new to it. If i want to run a Schedule Job  Quarterly should i just use Quarter in the Business Calendar or is there more to it?

Well you have three ways of doing so:

You can set four schedule items to run on trigger type 'Day and Month in Year', where you basically set the same thing to happen four times at a date within four different months to repeat each year;

You can set one main schedule items to run a script include so that the next run date is updated for the same trigger type;

Or as you mentioned, you can add it through business Calendar. But on this one, for your case, you will need to chose the 'Business Calendar: Entry Start', and business calendar as 'month'.

but why i can't choose  business Calendar  as 'Quarter' ?

Where are you trying to select a business Calendar.  but see:

there is a plugin named "Business Calendars", ID: com.glide.business_calendars in my PDI. For some reason I can't find that. If needed, create a Support Case.

Actually, you can choose Quarter, I just realised! Apologies, I thought that month was the equivalent, since its parent is Quarter. But yeah, just select quarter then. Same thing anyways.
