Can admin view all the applications and modules some of the applications are restricted through role

Dear All,

Can admins view all the applications and modules though the application is restricted to a custom role which doesn't inherit any roles ?

we did not give the admins the custom role but still he is able to view the  application.

What could be the reason?

Hi,

admin role users inherits all other roles including custom role so they are able to view the applications and modules

Hi,

That is expected as Admin is a super_user kind of user & has view of everything. So, even if the module does not have role configured for module it will show up & is expected.

This then enabled them to modify things.
