Can an assignment rule be created on a table that does not extend from the Task table?

Trying to create an assignment rule for a table however it does not allow me to select the table, it's not on the choice list, when creating the rule. The table itself is self-contained and does not extend from any other table.

Is there a condition in place that only allows assignment rules to be created on tables that have been extended from the Task table?

Hi,



You will have to create your custom assignment rules functionality for custom table.


You can create business rule on your custom table to assign records based on your requirement.
