Can I open a lab instance if I have a PDI?

Hi there, 

I want to take a training course that requires me to request a lab instance. I already have a PDI that has a lot of important work on it though and I am worried that if I open a lab instance I will be kicked off my PDI.

Has anyone else done this before or do I just continue to practice on my PDI?

Hi @gunishi ,

You will not get kicked out of you PDI due to lab instances. Also, lab instances have already loaded demo data, plugins etc. so lab instances should be utilized instead of your personal PDI when taking NowLearning training where lab instances are available to request.

Hi @gunishi ,

Nothing will happen to your PDI when u open a Lab instance.

It's mandatory to do the steps on lab instance while doing training or you won't be able to progress ahead (% completion won't go ahead)

As it validates in that lab instance only.

So feel free to use. There will be no impact on your PDI.
