Hi @nasirkhankakar .
With the limited introduction to your current starting point, and with very little pointers on the aspect "data modeling in terms of cmdb" it's quite hard to get you started.
I'll start out assuming, that you are asking for a starting point in terms of grasping the CSDM/CMDB model?
Perhaps you are just looking for a list of suggestions for E-learning and training via ServiceNow University ?
- In that case, here is a starting point with the assumption that you are familiar with standard ServiceNow navigation and perhaps also adminsitration...
here is a take on a ordered list of courses:
Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Fundamentals
Foundation course covering CMDB purpose, core concepts, and how CIs and relationships support operational processes.
Common Service Data Model (CSDM) Fundamentals
Learn the concepts and structure behind CSDM and how it supports consistent service modeling.
Introduction to CMDB Workspace
Overview of CMDB Workspace capabilities for managing CIs, relationships, and CMDB operations efficiently.
CMDB Data Manager Overview
Learn how CMDB Data Manager supports onboarding data sources and managing CMDB data ingestion and quality.
CMDB Health Deep Dive
Deepen understanding of CMDB Health dashboards, metrics, and remediation approaches to improve data quality.
Explore Asset Administration Modules: Asset and CI Creation
Learn how to create and administer assets and related CIs, and understand common lifecycle and governance practices.
Hopefully the above is enough to get you started, or perhaps gain some clarity on your needs 🙂
If this pointed you in the right direction, hit Helpful to spread the good vibes.
✅ If it cracked the case for you, mark it Correct so the next person doesn’t have to reinvent the wheel.
