Can't update planned start date and end date

When I try to update planned start date and planned end date and save it in my record, It was not getting updated, But I can see the updated planned start date and end date in work notes.

Can anyone explain me why it was coming like that?

On which record , you are trying . which state? Please provide more details , along with screenshot.

It was a custom table, In 'requested' state I am trying to update the dates.

There are some values in planned start date and planned end date before, When I try to update them and save it, It was showing the old values, But I can see updated values in work notes

Please provide more details buddy. Any BR / script which inherits from extended table?
