Can we automate service catalog creation?

Hi All,

Is there any possibilities to automate the service catalog creation.I need to know if it is possible or not since we had to create 300 catalogs from one

application into servicenow. Please share your knowledge guys.

Hi,

Please extract table structure of catalog item into excel and fill some data into this.

After that please create a data source and transform maps.

If you want to apply some rules then you can apply in transform scripts.

And your work will be done.

But if you want to have some client script then you will have to do them manually by coding them here.

How exactly you extracted the catalog item table?If you have any excel template can you share them.

We added all columns to LIST view and then exported it as xls.
