Can we clone Production instance with most of the tables extending task table to a test instance?

I would like to clone all the attributes of the table like activities, attachments, action history and so on for tables like incident, case and many more.

In documentation it says I cannot clone data for tables that extend task table and that is exactly what I want to achieve.

If you read carefully, it is talking about the legacy clone engine and that too for data preservation and not cloning, so you should be good.
