We are about to upgrade to Madrid and I've been playing in a personal instance to get ready for it, I notice it is very easy to create a new incident, but not as simple to create a new service request based on our service catalog.
Does anyone know how to add a shortcut / list / link / button (some simple way) for our agents to get straight to out service catalog page the same as they would if they used the more traditional ServiceNow page?

Hello there,
and do they have some kind of catalog roles? Can these users order some items from UI16/Service Portal?
If no, try to add suitable roles.
If yes, then it's strange.
It works for me. User who can order item from UI16 and/or from Service Portal pages can also order item from AW.

Hey Kev,
Did you find a solution to this in the end? I did the same as above and have the same issue you did, a non-admin ITIL user can see the service catalog when they use the "create a request" ui action but "new catalog item" isn't displaying with the + icon.
Cheers! Rhodri

Just as an update I figured this out, by adding the role "awa_agent".
It wasn't this role, it was "Catalog_editor". Please see my other answer for a solution that doesn't need this.
