Cannot create a Remote Instance Record after a system clone

Good afternoon,

I needed to clone my production instance to dev and test.

I am attempting to create a Remote Instance record in the test instance to point to dev.

I am receiving the following error:

Authentication to remote instance failed

Method failed: (https://instancename.com/sys_properties.do?SOAP&displayvalue=all&redirectSupported=true)HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized with code: 401

Check saved username and password

My username and password have not changed - they are the same in all 3 instances.  I am using a local account as well as my SSO account and both generate the same error.

Anyone know how to fix this before I open a case with ServiceNow?

I opened a case with ServiceNow - needed to add the account to the snc_basic_auth_api_access role
