Cannot create an ACL, cannot leverage permissions to security_admin

Hi,

 

I m working with SN studio in a developer hinstance,   i cannot find a way to create an ACL for my Resource Data Broker, which it seems actually being blocked by an ACL.  In the rgiht top corner there is no way to select a role to elevate...here what I have...

Whitout the ACL, no Data Broker = NO Custom Data Resource

 = NO way to customize my application....

HI Andrew,
This is your PDI i guess,so please go to https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do
and then go to

and then change the role to Admin please refer to attachment for your reference

and then check your PDI you will be able to Elevate the role to security_admin.

Okay got it - you have the incorrect role / setup of your PDI - Please go to developer.servicenow.com, click on the top right logo and under instance action you find <> Change user role - select admin. Now you should be able to elevate yourself and don't end up in Studio.
